1. Web Sites:
• Providian/Washington Mutual- Providian was a leading credit card issuer that was acquired by Washington Mutual. I was the sole programmer responsible for the Providian.com website, which remains online for legal compliance reasons. From 2002-2006 I reprogrammed the presentation layer of this website three times, and continue to maintain the majority of Washington Mutual's credit card servicing website. • Kessler - The Kessler Group is a financial and marketing services consulting company that works to maximize partnerships between companies and groups. I was the sole programmer on this website and consulted extensively with the business owners on design limitations.
• KesslerSF - This is the website for the San Francisco agency where I have worked since 2003. We put up this site the week the office was announced to close. While at Kessler I also produced some pages of Best Practices and other information; this is available for download here.
• Are You Young Enough - Online promotional campaign for Lipton Tea. I programmed all html, dhtml, javascript, and a fair amount of xml to integrate with the flash pieces. Complex design had to be strictly coded for maximum platform and browser compliance, utilizing .png hacks to enable transparent images with gradients to appear. Site also necessitated an AJAX form submission in a layer that floated above a flash movie. Widget integration with YouTube contest with limited design options required me to consult on design limitations with the marketing team. Most of the site has been taken down, but source code is available here.
• Lucia Vineyards - I have twice programmed and maintain this site for the Pisoni family who owns these vineyards, most recently taking advantage of transparent .png hacks to accomodate stylized graphic-based navigation on the homepage.
• Vidient, Inc. - Located in Santa Clara, California, Vidient is a venture backed spin-out from NEC Labs with product installed at major international airports and within leading corporations and public institutions. I programmed and maintained this site for them three times; source for my last version of the site available here.
• Suzanne Albertson - I programmed this site and consulted on design limitations with the designer and artist.
• Edith Hillinger - I programmed this site and consulted on design limitations with the designer and artist.
• Ames + Eames - Ames + Eames specializes in the leadership of strategic business functions for start-up and established technology companies. Their services include marketing and executive leadership for start-up companies, and media and publishing services for technology companies. I programmed and consulted on the design for this website.
2. Product Interface Design:
• LeapFrog Enterprises, Inc - I programmed the Link to Lessons online product interface, an interactive DVD-Rom menu programmed in DHTML. Source code available for here.
3. Music:
• Carta - I am the principle creative force in the band Carta, and released one album of original music, "The Glass Bottom Boat", in 2007 on the UK label Resonant. A second album, "An Index of Birds", will be released in 2009. Music is licensable through the CCL and PumpAudio.
